There are more than 100 Acupoints on the ear that correspond to the various organ systems and parts of the body. During the development of the fetus, the first structure to form is the brain and spinal cord.  At about the same time, what later becomes the external ear also develops.  It is believed that because of this, there is a very strong relationship between the ear and the central nervous system.

The Ancient Chinese viewed the ear as resembling an upside down fetus. All of the body parts arranged proportionately in and on the ear.  The ear lobe would relate to the head, brain, stem, face, etc., and the top of the ear would relate to the knee, foot, ankle, etc. Today, many physicians are using ear acupuncture in their practice due to the success rate.

Testimonial

I've been to chiropractors since I was a kid. I've been to some good ones, but I think that Dr. Carter is the best. I didn't know much about kinesiology, but since going to Dr. Carter I've realized that my adjustments are far better.
